all aboard the “my girlfriend is an inanimate object”
From a dev on BSN:
“You may notice that in the “Shepard lives” ending, the love interest hesitates to place Shepard’s name on the wall, and instead looks up as though deep in thought. This is meant to suggest that the love interest is not ready to believe Shepard is dead, and the final scene…
You know, I actually understood this.
But what I hate, what I absolutely loathe, apart from that they decided to do it this way at all, is that it had to be clarified outside the game. It would have been so easy to properly “fix” this - either have Shepard come up behind the LI and take the Commander Shepard plaque from them while leaning into their side, or, even simpler, have the LI saying Shepard’s name over his/her suit comm when Shepard takes the breath (since it appears out-of-sequence anyway). It’s like they stopped half a step from giving us true closure on purpose. And I can’t even tell you how angry that makes me.
“You’ve gotta get out of here.”
“Don’t argue with me, James.”
“I can still fight. Just give me my gun.”
“I need to know somebody’s getting out of this alive.”

This part made me laugh so hard ahahaha Bolin’s face
Prepare to be equalized.
but all this while bolin is trying to take a piss
Asami, darling, I love you.
Even though it hurts, I’m so glad you found out the truth, and I’m glad you’re handling it so maturely.
Guys, did you notice how she didn’t chew Mako out? She asked Bolin, and he told her about the kiss, but she didn’t confront him about it because she realized there were more important things to worry about. She recognized that finding Korra had priority over their relationship.
She’s tough, and she’s strong.
Asami, I really do love you, and what you do next episode is your choice- whether it’s forgiving him, or ending things.
